The Health Care Alliance for Patient Safety's work is centered around advocating for patient safety and protecting and defending the doctor-patient relationship. HCAPS advocates for eye and vision care for children and adults, including contact lens safety, the need for comprehensive eye exams for adults, and slowing the progression of myopia in children; access to health care; and telehealth as a tool that advances and strengthens the doctor-patient relationship.
