Patient Safety Awareness Week

This year’s Patient Safety Awareness Week will be held March 14-20. The American Optometric Association (AOA) will be hosting a series of events and webinars to promote ways you and your organization can increase patient safety. Stay tuned for more information on how you can get involved.

New Myopia Resource
from Johnson & Johnson Vision

Johnson & Johnson Vision, in partnership with the American Optometric Association, the Singapore Optometric Association and the American Academy of Optometry, released Managing Myopia: A Clinical Response to the Growing Epidemic.

The new guide is designed to provide guidance for eye care professionals on how to assess, monitor and treat myopia, especially in children as the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact eye health.
