The Health Care Alliance for Patient Safety (HCAPS) advocates for patient health and safety and to protect and defend the doctor-patient relationship. Our members come together from across the country to raise awareness and protect public health. We believe that advancing policy and collaboration between leading health care advocates, vision innovators, and treatment specialists is essential to push patient care and vision protection forward.

HCAPS is inviting members of AOA-affiliated state associations to become advocates. If 15% or more of any given state association's members sign up for HCAPS by the deadline using the form below, that association will earn a drawing for up to $1,500 in travel awards to send members to professional conferences in 2022. Each association that crosses the 15% sign up threshold will get their own drawing, and each drawing will be limited to members of that association who signed up for HCAPS. Click here to share this page by email with your colleagues and encourage them to sign up for HCAPS!
